IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Columbia School District is migrating
to the Jackson County Intermediate School District Email
System called Outlook Web Access (OWA). The reason for this
move is to facilitate better collaboration at the county
level, move to a more robust system that is fully backed up,
and to save money.
Please take time to review the Online
Training Materials for OWA.
End of day Tuesday (6/9) you will get
an email message with your new ID and password for OWA.
DO
NOT CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD AT THIS TIME.
Starting Wednesday (6/10) at 3:30 all
email for groupwisename@myeagles.org will be redirected to OWA. Your old email address will redirect to your new OWA
email (firstname.lastname@myeagles.org).
On Thursday we will start moving your
email folders from Groupwise Email to OWA. Please start
now to clean up your Groupwise accounts. This would be a
good time to
cleanup your email folders. NOTE: The new OWA system has a
130 meg limit per mailbox.
During this transition, please call Columbia
Tech Department (Ken/Ross/Stephen) first at 517-474-2980
cell or 517-592-2317 office, then JCISD Helpdesk at 768-5299
if you are having problems.
NOTE: Front Office staff in each
building will have their folders moved first on Thursday.
