Most classes are taught for 2 semesters. Each semester is worth .5 credit hours. Students in the class of 2008 need a combination of required classes and electives to equal 24 credit hours to graduate.  The class of 2009 and beyond need a total of 25 credit hours. (See complete listing of courses)

High School Credits Earned while in Middle School
High School credits earned by a middle school student (e.g. Algebra I, Spanish I, Spanish II) will be recorded on the students’ transcript, but will not be counted into the students’ high school Grade Point Average (GPA). The cumulative high school GPA will begin when a stu¬dent enters the ninth grade. Credits earned during middle school will count toward the rigorous curriculum requirements; however, students will still be required to earn 25 credits during high school.
