High School Credits Earned while in Middle School
High School credits earned by a middle school student (e.g. Algebra I, Spanish I) will be recorded on the students transcript, but will not be counted into the students’ high school Grade Point Average (GPA). The cumulative high school GPA will begin when a student enters ninth grade. Credits earned during middle school will count toward the rigorous Michigan Merit Curriculum requirements.
